Flies of choice are: #14 Pink San Juan Worms, #16-18 Red Mercury Pheasant Tails, #18 Mercury Caddis, #18 Flashback Pheasant Tails #12 Stalcup’s Green Drake Nymph, and #16 Red Copper Johns. The fish are congregated in the pools, back channels, and other slow water areas that provide current blocking protection. Dry/droppers have been effective too. Look for strong hatches of green drakes in the next few days.
