 The purpose of this class is to introduce the beginner to the basic fly tying techniques that are necessary in order to tie nymphs, streamers, wet and dry flies. We make a point of featuring only the most effective Rocky Mountain fly patterns. These basic skills and techniques learned in this class will give the novice tier the ability to tie hundreds of different patterns. The 2013 winter class dates are: Wednesday Feb. 6,13,20,27 and March 6,13,20,27. The class will meet at 6:00 pm and be over by 8:30 pm.The cost for this class is $125.00 and each person who registers will receive a $125.00 store credit that can be used to purchase fly tying tools, hooks, materials, or fly tying books. In other words the class is free if you buy your materials and tools from us. Although this is an entry level class, we have found that many intermediate fly tiers find it to be extremely valuable in taking their skills to the next level. It is recommended that you bring your own tools for the class.
