Bob Zasuly has been guiding and teaching fly fishing with the Blue Quill for seven years. He feels a fly-fishing trip is the opportunity to step out of the rush-hour traffic of your daily life and make contact with your surroundings - Colorado’s natural beauty. Bob’s patient and light-hearted approach makes beginners as well as experienced fly fishers feel comfortable, and he is happy either to lead you to the fish or to hold “class on the river” and teach the basics like knots, rigging, entomology and technique.

Outside of fly fishing, Bob works in the technology and training world, is a published fiction writer and enjoys backpacking. Bob’s star student is his daughter, who caught her first fish on a fly rod at 2 years of age.
