Are you always frustrated with that extra 5 feet you need to reach those rising fish? Well here is your answer!! The Sage Advanced Casting School is a one-day class is designed for intermediate to advanced casters who want to improve on distance, accuracy, double hauling and being able to self diagnose problems to become a better caster in less time. Several casting exercises will be taught that will quickly enhance the casters ability towards perfecting their casting style which makes for a more well rounded angler and leads to less frustration on the water. Using the Sage Casting Analyzer, instructors will give each student a quantitative analysis of their cast from which they can begin to perfect their casting style. This course will be taught by a Federation of Flyfishers (FFF)-Certified casting instructors who are proficient at not only teaching casting but making the learning process a joy. Here are a few of the topics we will cover in this class:
- Perfecting your loops.
- The mechanics of the fly cast
- Carrying more line.
- Effectively shooting more line.
- Double hauling.
- Accuracy
- More distance with less effort.

- April 17th
- May 22nd
- June 5th
- July 10th
- August 14th
- September 4th
Additional dates may be added depending on the demand. All classes are held at the Blue Quill Angler and begin at 9:00 a.m. and finish up around 4:00 p.m. You can bring your rod, reel and line that you are familiar with or you can use one of the Sage outfits we have for the school.
