The Tru-Blood Knot Tyer was designed to tie only the Blood Knot which many believe is the most difficult knot in fishing. This method of forming the blood knot allows this knot to be tied in seconds using the easiest method yet developed. The Blood Knot has always been the preferred knot of Fly Fisherman when tying knotted leaders and also when tying on new tippet material to a mono leader. Not only is it strong but it lays straight when tied properly. Other fisherman use the Blood Knot for general splicing of line. Unfortunately it is one of the most difficult knots to tie by hand.
