About the Sage 99 Series:
Leave it to Jerry Siem of Sage to come up with a rod series like this.  The Sage 99 Series is designed specifically for multi bug nymph rigs and large wind resistant indicators.  This rod will allow you to high-stick nymph all day long without your arm falling off before lunch.

The rods are built with the same Advanced G5 Technology as the Z Axis rods and the 9'9" length will mkae short work of long, drag free drifts.  The unique taper loads lower on the blank to generate open loops. helping to avoid tangles with multiple fly and indicator rigs. At the same time, a stiffer tip section handles heavy payload delivery but retains the necessary sensitivity needed to detect subtle takes.  The guides on the 99 Series are slightly oversized and specifically palced to facilitate stack mending, shake-out and feeding line easier which translates into a longer, drag free drift.
