This rod was my Czech nymphing "debut" rod and I had concerns about its design/construction to handle larger trout and and the added weight of a 10 ft rod as compared to my 9 and 8 ft rods. This rod has performed brilliantly over the past season and half! My experiences with fishing extensively with this rod are that it is both sensitive to touch and feel but also has the backbone to handle the big trout of Henrys Fork and Madison rivers. The added length hasn't caused me any arm fatigue but allows me a bit more reach while I'm Czech nymphing. I am totally pleased with this rod.
