Designed for women, with custom trim and flattering feminine cut, this jacket offers supreme waterproof protection on and off the water. 2.5-layer Red Storm(TM) waterproof/breathable fully seam sealed jacket. 4-way stretch fabric. Adjustable storm hood with brim. Concealed draw cord at waist. Internal chest pocket with zip closure. Two-way pit zips. Reviews:
After 3 hours of a varying levels of precipitation, The Deschutes kept me dry and felt good. The hood fits well, has a brim, and actually stays up for extended periods of time (exciting feature). Additional jacket bonuses include: sealed seams, two-way pit zips, and plenty of pockets…plus my favorite feature in any coat: a zipper protector to keep my chin from chaffing. http://www.readbreathe.com/blogs/stay-dry-my-friends/

Based on a price of $75 (on sale) this coat appears to be of good quality and is attractive in appearance. I can not yet comment on how well it wears or keeps you dry during heavy rain.
