This is the ultimate yarn indicator kit. Included is enough yarn to last a few years, rubber bands, a Velcro fluffing tool and rigging instructions. Once you use this system, you'll be hooked!

I've found twist ons don't suspend flies well and thingamabobbers are hard to adjust and tangle my leaders like crazy. After reading about this indicator in Dorsey's book and chasing around fabric stores and dentist offices I was pleased to see BQA sells it all as a kit. The first time I used this one I found it lands softly on the water, suspends weighted nymph rigs easily, and was many times more sensitive than anything I had used before. I found myself popping the rod several times per drift now and hooked a nice 17" brown on about the fourth cast. Very impressive. I'm hooked!

Fished this on the Beaverhead last weekend and would have been skunked with a thingamabobber, the water was calm and slow. In my opinion, it's the only way to nymph slow, calm water and surprising keeps its bouyancy in fast moving water too. I give this product 5 stars hands down.

I first used this strike indicator when I fished Cheesman Canyon with Pat Dorsey last year. I was impressed with how buoyant it stayed, even in relatively high and fast water. I took this system back to Virginia and was blown away with how lightly and softly it fell on the water, yet was so easy to cast. Even though it requires carrying the yarn, bands and fluffing tool - and requires a minute to set-up - it's well worth it. Another benefit is how easy it is to dry and re-fluff. If you fish over spooky fish on slow water, again, this is a great system.
