As at home in the Pacific Northwest as it is propped against mangrove roots, the Westwater Backpack is the fast-moving, lightweight solution to your all-day gear carrying needs. The padded mesh back and shoulder straps will keep you comfortable on warmer days and with heavier loads. Most Fishpond chestpacks clip easily onto those shoulder straps too, meaning you can keep fishing while your snacks stay safely tucked out of the way.

Features:
  • TPU welded fabric construction
  • YKK #10 water resistant zippers with oversize rubber pulls
  • Modular design allows for the Westwater Chest Pack, or other fishpond chestpack (with compatible buckles) to mount to the front
  • D-ring net attachment
  • Exterior accessory pocket for quick access items
  • Interior clear zippered organization pocket
  • Side fishpond rod tube straps
  • Mesh back and shoulder straps for increased breathability and comfort
  • Waist and sternum strap for support
  • New and improved Cyclepond fabric
  • 1.50 lbs
  • 976 cu. in.
  • 18.5'' x 9.5'' x 6''

I just received this pack and really like the fit. Took it out for a hike and the size and waist belt fit well. Less then half the price of the Patagonia Stormfront Pack 28L with all the same features. The only things that I would add is a keychain attachment point in the inside pocket and a mesh pocket on the inside of the outer wall to keep organized. I'm thinking about buying extra rod tube straps for other packs that I own.
