An effective pattern on the Frying Pan, Taylor and Blue rivers where Mysis Shrimp are found. Just enough flash to attract the biggest of trout.

I have found this fly to be excellent in the Mysis tail waters particulaerly in the Blue and Taylor rivers. The Frying Pan is different in that the shrimp come through alive in the toilet bowl and are not white . The only problem with this fly is that it lacks durability and the thread is easily gnawed through and then it unravels quickly and sometime the rib extends over the eye opening making it difficult to thread tippet through.
