Now you can take your favorite net and convert it to a Ghost Net with this replacement bag.

How to restring a net:
  • To re-string your Brodin net, you will need a net bag (of course), a small clamp (a clothespin will do), an embroidery needle and some 30# test white dacron line. Make sure that the line is about two feet longer than the circumference of the hoop.
  • Clamp the net bag to the center of the top of the hoop. This will ensure that the seam of the net bag is exactly in the middle.
  • Next tie the line onto the net bag at the first hole near the handle. A clinch knot or three overhands will do. Trim the line but leave a 1/4" tag.
  • With the line threaded to the needle, insert the needle through the first hole from the inside. Pull the line tight.
  • Put the needle through the second hole from the outside, go around the top of the net bag and then back out the same hole.
  • Repeat this process until you get to the final hole. You can remove the clamp when you reach the top of the net frame.
  • When you pull the line out of the final hole, pull the needle under the running line and tie a half hitch around it. Do two more half hitches to secure the line. If you pull the tag end of the line towards the butt of the handle, the half hitch will jump down into the hole giving your re-strung net a clean appearance.
  • Go out and catch a fish to test your work.
