What goes around comes around. With its patented “push button” locking pin-mount mechanism, this retractor swivels 360-degrees, so your accessories and coil are not pinned down when you really need them facing up or even sideways.

Although bulkier than your typical zinger-style retractor, this one is way more robust. I've had issues w/ zingers coming off whatever they were attached to--usually due to poor pin/latch design or no locking mechanism for the pin. These have a "thumb tack" & locking button design that will stay put and also rotate around freely whever you pull your accessory. Punching through thick straps is no problem either. You also don't have to worry about wearing out a thin metal wire over time or the retraction mechanism wearing out (which can happen if they get wet). This may be twice the cost of a normal zinger, but it's well worth it. Nothing is more irritating than pulling a zinger off your vest/waders/hip pack when you're fishing!
