Tips and Other Information: Flows are perfect and fishing couldn’t be better. Anglers can expect hatches of midges, blue winged olives, caddis, yellow sallies, red quills, and Tricos. Nymph fishing has been productive in the faster slots and seams first thing in the a.m., then again when the blue winged olives come off mid-day. When the hatches are in progress, fish the head end of the runs with a lot of weight. You’ll pick up an assortment of nice browns, and the occasional rainbow. Effective patterns have been #18 Buckskins, #18 Mercury Pheasant Tails, and #20 Sparkle Wings RS II’s. Mosquitoes are still problematic—Don’t forget your DEEP WOODS OFF!
