Tips and Other Information: Flows are high! Anglers will need to target the edges of the stream with San Juan Worms, scuds, leeches, caddis and cranefly larvae trailed by an assortment of small flashy nymphs. Don’t let the high water fool you—fishing can be very good if you fish the soft cushions along the river’s edge. Fishing a streamer early and late in the day or in low light conditions can also be effective and could produce some ver large fish. Crowds have been low but will increase as the water drops.
